Cookie Policy

Effective July 2026 · Acclaimed Media FZCO

Our use of cookies

Welcome to www.acclaimed.media (‘the ‘site’), which is owned and operated by Acclaimed Media FZCO (“We”). Here you will find information on what cookies may be set when you visit the site and how to reject or delete those cookies. For further detailed information about this site, please see our Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. By continuing to use this site, you are agreeing to our use of cookies in the manner described in this policy.

1. What are cookies?

1.1 A cookie is a small data file that is placed on your computer or other device to allow a website to recognise you as a user when you return to the website using the same computer and web browser, either for the duration of your visit (using a ‘session cookie’) or for repeat visits (a ‘persistent cookie’). Other similar files work in the same way and we use the word ‘cookie’ in this policy to refer to all files that collect information in this way.

1.2 Cookies are an extremely common technology for remembering certain information about a visitor to a website. The vast majority of websites currently make use of cookies and they are commonly used for a wide range of tasks. We use the following cookies:

  • 1.2.1 Strictly necessary cookies: as necessary for website operation, for example, to enable you to login to your account;
  • 1.2.2 Analytical/performance cookies: to analyse the use of the site, for example, recognising and counting the number of visitors and how they move around the site. This helps us to see what parts of the site are popular and which sections need improving to make the experience better for users;
  • 1.2.3 Functionality cookies: to recognise you when you return to the site so that content can be personalised for you, for example, by remembering your country and site preferences; and
  • 1.2.4 Targeting cookies: to record your visit to the site and the pages you have visited and links you have followed. We will use this to make the site more relevant to your interests.

This document gives you information on the specific cookies used on this site.

2. How to control and delete cookies

2.1 This site does not display a cookie-consent banner, because it does not set tracking, advertising, analytics, or functionality cookies for ordinary visitors — our analytics works without cookies (see section 3). The only cookie we set is a strictly-necessary session cookie for administrators who sign in to manage the site. You can restrict or block cookies at any time through your browser settings.

2.2 We will not use cookies to collect personally identifiable information about you. However, if you wish to restrict or block the cookies which are set by this site (or, indeed, on any other site) you can do this through your browser settings. The ‘Help’ function within your browser should tell you how. In respect of cookies that are set via this site, it may also be possible to disable these cookies by following the instructions provided in the section titled ‘Opting Out’ in each of the tables below.

2.3 Alternatively, you may wish to visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org/ which contains comprehensive information on how to do this on a wide variety of browsers. You will also find details on how to delete cookies from your computer, as well as more general information about cookies.

2.4 Please be aware that restricting cookies may mean that you will not be able to take full advantage of all the features or services available on this site.

3. Cookies and analytics used on our site

For ordinary visitors, this site does not set any tracking, advertising, analytics, or functionality cookies. The only cookie we use is a strictly-necessary session cookie, and it is set only for administrators who sign in to our content-management system to manage the site — not for ordinary visitors.

Name: Administrator session cookie

Purpose: Keeps a signed-in administrator authenticated while they manage the site. It is not set for ordinary visitors.

Expires: At the end of the administrator’s browsing session.

Source: www.acclaimed.media

Opting Out: Not applicable to ordinary visitors — this cookie is only used for administrator sign-in and is strictly necessary for that purpose.

Analytics: We use Umami, a privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics tool, to understand how the site is used — for example, which pages are viewed and how visitors move around the site. Umami does not use cookies, does not collect information that identifies you personally, and does not track you across other websites.

Session replay and heatmaps: On a sampled basis we also record anonymised session replays and heatmaps to help us improve the design and usability of the site. Information you enter into forms is masked, this data is stored on our own analytics server, and it is not shared with third parties.

4. Third-party cookies

4.1 Please note that to improve your website experience third parties may also use cookies. For example, we sometimes embed video content from websites such as YouTube and YouTube may set cookies on your browser in order to display the video and monitor non-attributable statistical information. Information on YouTube’s privacy policy can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/static?template=privacy_guidelines.

4.2 We also use a number of suppliers who set cookies on this site on our behalf in order to deliver certain services and features. As a result, when you visit a page with content embedded, you may be presented with cookies from these websites. We do not control the dissemination of these cookies and you should check the relevant third party website for more information about these.

5. Email tracking

5.1 Some of the emails we send to you may contain a ‘web beacon pixel’ or tracked links which allows us to identify when you have opened the email and to verify which links contained in the email you have accessed. We use this information to determine which parts of our emails are of most interest to you.

5.2 You can delete the pixel by deleting the email. If you do not wish to download the pixel to your computer or other devices, you can do so by selecting to receive emails from us in plain text rather than HTML.

5.3 Alternatively you can unsubscribe from our mailing list by contacting us at info@acclaimed.media.

6. Changes

6.1 We may make changes to this Cookie Policy at any time by posting a copy of the revised policy on the site. Any changes will take effect on the date on which we post the modified terms on the site. Your continued use of the site means that you agree to be bound by the modified policy.

7. Contact us

7.1 If you have any questions or concerns about cookies or your privacy when using this site, please contact us at info@acclaimed.media.
